CHIREDZI – Vice President (Rtd) General Constantino Chiwenga has ordered Zanu PF structures in Masvingo to recall all its four MPs in Chiredzi who allegedly worked with former First Lady Mugabe and the G40 cabal.

Chiwenga's message was delivered to the concerned parties by Zanu PF Politburo member and secretary general of Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA), Victor Matemadanda just before a meeting held at Lyonaise Hall in Chiredzi last week.

Matemadanda instructed the Province to start the process of recalling the four MPs from Parliament and to go out into the constituencies and tell the people that the four are no longer Zanu PF members.

He said he was sent to Chiredzi by Chiwenga to spearhead the recalling of the Chiredzi MPs and added that war veterans should spread that gospel in all the four constituencies of Chiredzi. He threatened to bring a force from Norton that will force the people of Chiredzi to toe the line if the MPs; Kalisto Gwanetsa, Denford Masiya, Darlington Chiwa and Denford Mukwena are not recalled.

"Last Sunday I briefed Acting President Chiwenga on what you told me during our last meeting. He asked me why I should continue to talk about people who were expelled from the party and I said they are still there. He then called Captain Gono to give the same instruction. He ordered me to come back and tell you that you should start the process of recalling from Parliament; Gwanetsa, Masiya, Chiwa and Mukwena and the expulsion of Veronica Makonese (former provincial chairlady) from the party."

Makonese is the former chairlady for Masvingo Province.

"We don't want to make a lot of noise because the President is currently in Davos but go into the constituencies and inform the people that we are no longer working with these four MPs," said Matemadanda.
