PLYMOUTH, January 28, 2011- English Premier League club, Plymouth has lined up Zimbabwean international left back Onesimo Bhasera for a move to Premier League club Blackpool.

The Zimbabwe international is set to spend the rest of the season on loan to Blackpool, with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer.Blackpool's former Argyle manager Ian Holloway has swooped for Bhasera after Championship outfit Crystal Palace stalled on a deal to buy him.
Bhasera, 24, was in Blackpool yesterday to hold talks about a switch to the Seasiders.They will pay a loan fee to financially-stricken Argyle to take him until the end of the season.Bhasera was signed as a free agent by Argyle last March after they successfully appealed against a decision to refuse him a work permit.
He had impressed then Pilgrims' boss Paul Mariner during a trial in January.Bhasera has made a total of 35 appearances for Argyle, and scored his first goal in the 3-1 win at MK Dons on January 18.He suffered a knee injury in the same match and was ruled out when the Pilgrims lost 2-0 away to Charlton Athletic last Saturday.

Bhasera has played 15 times for Zimbabwe, including twice this season.Argyle have paid off more than £1 million in tax debts to HM Revenue and Customs over the past couple of months.But they still need to come up with another £270,000 to clear further arrears, and avoid another winding-up petition.
Until they do that, the transfer embargo imposed on Argyle by the Football League will not be lifted.Argyle manager Peter Reid has seen his squad depleted by several departures over recent weeks.Top scorer Bradley Wright-Phillips was the latest player to leave Home Park, signing for Charlton on Monday.
The promotion-chasing League One club paid an undisclosed six-figure sum for the Pilgrims' 13-goal striker.Winger Craig Noone, defender Reda Johnson and striker George Donnelly have also been transferred.Reid described the attempts to raise enough money to clear Argyle's tax debts to HMRC as "an ongoing situation".

He added: "I know the board are actively working to get the embargo off because we are short of numbers."
Reid has provided exemplary leadership as the full extent of Argyle's cash crisis has unfolded, and continues to do so.
He said: "It's not easy, but it's the job I have got at the moment and we have just got to get on with it.

"The most important things are to get the embargo out the way and to win the games.
"The players are giving the club, and myself, everything they have got. We have just got to keep them going."

Reid hopes to add at least a couple of loan signings to his dwindling squad before the January transfer window slams shut at 11pm next Monday.But that all depends on the embargo being removed.Football League clubs can make 'emergency loan' signings from Tuesday, February 8, but Reid, understandably, would prefer the first option as it is sooner.
He said: "We are running out of days. I know we can go again in February, but in an ideal world I would want one or two in before then."
Argyle football consultant Peter Ridsdale has been working around the clock to try to ease the club's financial crisis since taking on his unpaid role at the end of December.The former Leeds United and Cardiff City chairman has sanctioned the sale of players to raise some much-needed money.- Plymouth Herald
