Zanu PF says every post in the Presidium is up for election at the party’s forthcoming December elective congress.
The Zanu PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Rugare Gumbo, told the ZBC News that the party’s co-ordinating committee chaired by Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo will be seating down to deliberate on the December congress.
Gumbo said the elections at the congress will be done through the one man one vote system and all office bearers in the presidium will be subject to the process
The recent youth and women’s league conferences held in Harare endorsed the party’s President and First Secretary, Robert Mugabe.
No other endorsements for contestants have yet been forwarded.
The congress will elect a new leadership after the current one’s five-year term expires, according to the Zanu PF constitution.
