Amos Midzi Dies In Suspected Suicide

Suspended former Zanu (PF) Harare provincial chairman Amos Midzi has died in a suspected case of suicide.

Midzi was found dead at his Marirangwe farm this morning.

Police homicide and forensic experts are now at the scene where the body is still locked in a car.

Preliminary investigations suggest suicide by poisoning as the area surrounding the vehicle is filled with odour of suspected pesticide.

Midzi,a former minister and diplomat was removed from his chairmaniship position in a vote of no confidence before his party’s controversial December congress.He was later suspended along a lot of other bigwigs.
