Beatar Mangethe Dies

Radiovop has it on good authority that the Mangethe who was married to the late former Dynamos star, Lenny Gwata died in Bulawayo on Saturday after what close relatives said was a long illness.

Family spokesperson Naison Ndlovu confirmed the death saying it came as a shock to him.

“She has left a gap. We loved her as a mother to the only son, Wesley that she left. We are lost for words as her family…we hope God blesses her,” he said.
 
An actor and choreographer, Mangethe rose to fame after the release of the hit song, “I Come from Makokoba”.

She was also known as “Thuli” after the role she played in a local television drama.
 
Her death comes subsequently after that of her husband´s, who died in South Africa on April 12 this year.

Mourners were gathered at Number 2176, First Street, Makokoba.

She is survived by her son, Wesley.
