One the country’s most celebrated stand up comedian Carl Joshua Ncube created endless laughter as he performed to a tickled-like crowd in Masvingo’s Charles Austin’s Theatre recently.
Ncube visited the city on his ‘Feel Good Zimbabwe’ tour which is meant to reach out to his fans before he goes for his world tour.
The comedian explained how it was important to him to reach out for his fans across the nation as they made him what he is today.
“I saw it important that I do a nationwide tour before I go for my world tour bidding farewell to my fans as they made me what I am today. If they had not given a laughter to my jokes from the onset, I would not have been a comedian today. That is why I respect them”, said Ncube.
Described by CNN African Voices as the “New face of Zimbabwean Comedy”, Carl literally broke into the Zimbabwean comedy scene with his debut one-man show ‘Carl Joshua Ncube’s Big Announcement’ setting him up as the biggest Zimbabwean Stand-up Comedy export.
Carl is currently on a quest to take his version of Zimbabwe to the world. To date Carl has performed in South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria and USA.Entertainment
