Harare, September 18, 2016 – TROUBLED Dynamos football club have been bundled out of the Chibuku Super Cup after going down 4-5 on penalties to visiting Bulawayo side, How Mine in the first round of the competition.

The match, played at Rufaro, ended goalless during regulation time.

Dynamos scored their penalty kicks through Ocean Mushure, Godknows Murwira, Denver Mukamba, Masimba Mambare while Wisdom Mutasa missed the fifth kick for the fallen giants.

How Mine scored through Qadi Amin, Milton Ncube, Kuda Musharu, Pascal Manhanga but Praise Tonha had his kick saved by Tatenda Mukuruva, in goals to Dynamos.

But when it came to the sudden death kicks, Mukuruva turned hero to villain when his penalty kick was saved by his Warriors counterpart Bernard Donovan.

Then came Bernard who converted his kick to dump the home side out of the lucrative cup.

Dynamos were the second premiership giant to be dumped out of the competition following Caps United’s 4-5 loss on Saturday to Tsholotsho.

In Bulawayo, Highlanders were 2-1 winners against visiting Mutare City in a math played at Barbourfields stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Elsewhere, Triangle beat Chicken Inn by 1 goal to nil to progress to the quarter final stage of the competition.

The three triumphant teams join Harare City, Tsholotsho, Platinum, Ngezi Platinum and ZPC Kariba who triumphed in matches played on Friday and Saturday.
