Comesa Won't Bulldoze Zim's Economic Programmes: ZIA Boss

“Comesa is not here to tell us what to do and we can devise our own programmes,” Mbaiwa said in Harare.
“We will, however, listen to their advice and see where we can learn from them.”
He was responding to worries by some delegates attending a three-day workshop on Improving the business climate in Zimbabwe which was hosted by Comesa and the European Union (EU).
World Bank spokesperson said Zimbabwe needed to come up with its own home grown policies but adhere to them in order for the country to move forward.
“We are fully behind Zimbabwe,” she said.
“The country must move fast because it is slow right now.”
More than 30 delegates came from the Comesa region as well as Europe to pave the way forward for Zimbabwe’s economic recovery.
