Dynamos Maintain Lead

The popular Harare side have shot to 59 points while Highlanders are on 57 points with only four games left before the 2012 PSL soccer programme comes to an end.

In fact, Dynamos could have opened a five point lead had it not been for goalkeeper George Chigova who in the 83rd minute allowed what looked like a harmless effort from Bruce Kangwa to go through his hands and into the net to hand Bosso draw.

Dembare had opened the scoring in the 11th minute through former Caps United striker Simba Sithole.

Dynamos supporters were at the end of the match blaming Chigova for giving Highlanders the point but the team have themselves to blame for missing countless opportunities that came their way including a miss by Farai Mupasiri who with only the goalkeeper to beat failed to connect after being set up by man of the match Denver Mukamba.

With Sunday’s result the battle for the championships is still on with Dynamos focusing their attention to their next game against Zimbabwe Republic Police side Black Mambas while Highlanders take on Buffaloes at home.

There are only four matches left before the curtain comes down on the 2012 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.
