The popular Harare side is in financial dire straits after Caf’ delayed to give the club its funds for taking part in last year’s competition.
Chairman Farai Munesti confirmed the club had failed to raise funds.
The financial problems have had serious repercussions with top players like Benjamin Marere and Murape Murape packing their bags for other teams complaining of none payment of bonuses and salaries.
Munetsi said they had written to government through the Sport and Recreation Commission seeking financial support for their 2011 Africa campaign.
Caf owes Dynamos $280 000 for reaching the mini league stage of the 2010 contest. The club received $100 000 last year.
Because of their high ranking in African football, Dynamos are not playing in the preliminary stages but will start their campaign straight from the first round.
