Emily Kachote Grabs MIss World Zimbabwe Crown

Beautiful, Emily Tatanga Kachote was last night crowned Miss World Zimbabwe 2015, beating 15 other contestants at the glamorous  finals held at Mermaids Pools on a farm just off Shamva Road.

25-year-old Harare financial advisor, secured a place in history when she scooped the 2015 Miss World Zimbabwe title.

It was a moment to cherish as the model walked up to receive her crown from outgoing queen, Tendai Hunda, to a military salute by the Zimbabwe National Army.

The beauty queen proved that perseverance pays after failing to land the crown in 2011 when she was Miss Harare.

Emily will now represent Zimbabwe at Miss World 2015 pageant to be held later this year.

2nd Princess was 19-year-old, Anne Grace Mutambu while 1st Princess was Chengetai Kanonhuwa.

Vanessa Mutemasango was voted Miss Personality through the SMS platform, while Annisa Ndiriwani took the Miss Talent title at the end of the four and half hour long pageant.

Leonard Karikoga Zhakata, Trevor Dongo and Mudiwa provided entertainment to the invited guests at the colourful event that was attended by about a thousand guests, among them cabinet ministers politicians and business executives.
