Zvishavane, September 24, 2016 – PREMIERSHIP log leaders FC Platinum have done themselves a great favour by beating Dynamos 2-0 to go four points clear of second placed Caps United, who play their match against How Mine on Sunday.

Goals by defender Kelvin Moyo and Walter Musona in the first half ensured Norman Mapeza’s men completed a famous double against the fallen giants while putting the destiny of the 2016 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League firmly in their own hands.

FC Platinum’s victory ensured the Zvishavane outfit took their points tally to 51 points, four ahead of Caps United who are on 47 points.

Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa said in post match interviews the defeat was worrisome and said his boys lacked composure to convert the numerous chances that fell their way.

Triumphant coach Norman Mapeza said their league title aspirations were in “God’s hands” adding that they were “taking each game as it comes”.

Sunday matches will see third placed Highlanders take on Ngezi Platinum hoping to keep the premiership title within reach.
