Feature Film ‘Mwanasikana’ Unveiled

A new Zimbabwean feature film titled “Mwanasikana” written and directed by Beauty Nakai Tsuro has been unveiled in Harare and will soon be showing on the big screen.

 Produced by Tatenda Studios, the movie is about the challenges faced by a number of young children in today’s society.

“Mwanasikana” is a story about a young girl, Tsitsi whose role is played by Tinashe Pundo who is in pursuit of trying to find out who her real father is.

In some of the scenes, Tsitsi is seen embarking on a journey to find out who her real father is as she tried to find her true identity.

The film is also about how society looks at children issues as they grow up.

The feature film was shot in Zvimba district in Run’anga village.

Shot and edited by Diverson Zuze, the film also stars various actors who include Boniface Chimedza as Kenny, Chido Mbizvo as Maggie, Antony Tongani as Baba Kenny and nelia mpofu as Mai Kenny.

Producer, director and actor, Tsuro, last year came up with the first reality television show titled ‘Cultured’  which was screened on ZBC TV.
