Former Caps United Player Takes Up Music In Germany

Mbidzo left Zimbabwe many years ago when he was known to many locals for his talents in soccer. He was the heart-beat of the famous Harare based side Caps United. At one point he even played a starring role in the Zimbabwe national team.

But many Zimbabweans last heard of him when he left the country for Germany to pursue his soccer career with his a Hamburg-based club.

But with his playing days in the twilight, the dreadlocked showman has taken to music. He is now a regular feature on the Hamburg showbiz circuit. Mbidzo is now a proud leader of a music group specialising in reggae music and now speaks fluent Germany. Some of his music is sung in Germany.

His publicist who identified himself as Jost told Radio VOP from Hamburg that Mbidzo is “doing well with his music career.”

His impressive discography is showcased on his My Space account. It is an impressive array of reggae tunes with some renditions from the music’s pioneers such Bob Marley and Bares Harmond.

He is currently riding on a wave of his successful music album aptly entitled Oneness.
