Zifa Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Mashingaidze said fans will be accorded free entry to watch the Mighty Warriors fight for a place at the All Africa Games finals to be held in Mozambique from September 3 to 18.
Zifa normally charges $3 for the cheapest seat in matches of such magnitude.
The Zifa supremo says they are looking forward to a big crowd to attend the game and cheer the Mighty Warriors all the way to victory and all the way to the continental sports festival.
The Mighty Warriors are only a game away from the finals in Mozambique and only need a draw or a win of any margin to make it to Maputo.
The two teams drew one -all in Angola two weeks ago in a match the Mighty Warriors felt robbed after the Angolans were awarded two dubious penalty kicks, one of which they missed.
The team’s coach Rosemary Mugadza is confident the Mighty Warriors will come out victors adding that morale is high in the camp and the players are looking forward to the game.
She revealed one injury worry that of Violet Dekete but said she has a replacement for the player.
The Zimbabweans last qualified for a major tournament way back in 2009 when they went to the African Women’s Championships in South Africa but came back empty handed after losing all the matches they played.
