Iranian Leader Blasts The West
Officially opening the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), Ahmedinejad said Iran and Zimbabwe will resist those attempts and will stand firm against injustice.
“God gave us the sun and the moon, he also created love, passion and spiritual resources unfortunately some of the oppressors do not understand these rules, they have bad behaviour and they let slavery to be prevalent in this world. Today they are trying to control world resources and they do not want to let other countries have peace and prosperity,” Ahmedinejad said.
“The countries of the world have noticed this, Zimbabwe and Iran have decided to stand firm against the arrogance and the injustice,”he said.
Ahmedinejad said Zimbabwe and Iran will stand side by side in the defence of the principle of all nations deciding their own destiny.
“Justice is the basis for transaction between countries and all governments have rights to decide their own destiny, they have to use their own resources and no one is allowed to decide for them,”Ahmedinejad said.
Meanwhile MDC-T government officials boycotted the official opening of the ZITF.
Conspicuous by his absence was the Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and his deputy Thokozani Khuphe and the majority of cabinet ministers from his party.
Tsvangirai was official on the programe as his name appeared among those who were supposed to attend on the programme.
The Speaker of the House of Assembly, Lovemore Moyo, was the only official from Tsvangirai’s party while Arthur Mutambara attended together with cabinet ministers from his party.
