Khupe To Receive Prayers From Party Loyalists
MDC-T Bulawayo province spokesperson Mandla Sibanda confirmed party President and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai would lead party loyalists in the solidarity prayer meeting with his second in charge.
“The meeting would start around 9am and will end around lunch hour. It would be held at MacDonald Hall in Mzilikazi,” said Sibanda.
“Every one is free to attend. The major activities during the prayer meeting would be the church sermon and some goodwill messages for our Deputy President.”
Sibanda denied the party could be in a state of panic over Khuphe’s ailment saying prayer meetings were “a culture in Bulawayo”.
