Desist from separatism, associations should unite and work as one because we want one word from you all. If government sees that you are doing things that do not serve the populace, it will intervene so that it does the duties you would have failed to do, that is to serve the community at large,” added Mahofa.
Economic analyst Edmore Mujeyi however denounced Mahofa’s sentiments saying such policies scare out investors and ultimately the downfall of the business community.
“Most investors are scared to the bone because they want to be neutral, they do not want to be partisan. It also curtails business ethos and ethics so if we rely want a viable business environment in Zimbabwe, let us do away with partisanship when operating,” said Mujeyi.
