Minister Mzila-Ndlovu Released On Bail

The minister was arrested in Lupane last week for allegedly attending a meeting where he spoke against the Fifth Brigade massacres of the 80s.The magistrate ordered the Minister to reside in Bulawayo for the duration of the case, surrender his travel documents and not to interfere with state witnesses.

His lawyer Kucaca Phulu told RadioVop that his client had several complaints against the way the police treated him while in their custody.He also complained about hunger after he was denied food for many hours.

The minister will appear in court again on May 30.
