Murdered MDC-T Official Burial On Saturday

According to a party statement, Maguru will be buried at Bosto village where the leadership of Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai formation is expected to attend.

The 67 year old Ward One chairperson in Mudzi North, Mashonaland East was allegedly murdered in cold blood at the party’s rally at Chimukoko Business Centre on Saturday in full view of police officers from Kotwa Police station.

Police said six suspects were arrested in connection with the murder.

Magura is survived by his wife, Mabel, six children and several grandchildren.

Meanwhile, four of the seven MDC members assaulted on the same day have been discharged from a Harare hospital.
