Chitembwe was sacked by Caps united for poor results but comes into the fold after a poor showing by Jongwe who replaced supporter-loathed Moses Chunga.
Troubled Dynamos Tuesday appointed former midfielder Pasuwa as the team’s acting coach, subsequently ending Lloyd Mutasa’s six months reign at the club.
Former midfielder Tonderai Ndiraya who is also the club’s junior coach will assist Pasuwa while Tichaona Diya retained his post as the goalkeeper’s coach.
Kenny Mubaiwa, Dynamos official said: “Mutasa’s contract failed to meet the target on his contract. His contract was clear that he should get 23 points from 10 games so we had to use that is reference to making a decision and it is unfortunate that we had to part.”
According to sources Pasuwa has been given a target as well and failure to meet it he will be fired.
Dynamos lie fourth on the table with 30 points, nine points behind log leaders FC Platinum who have a game in hand.
Meanwhile, social media shows divided views from both Dynamos and Caps united fans with some claiming that what the teams needed were not new coaches but a new management approach.
Dynamos fans voiced concern over the old guard they accused of stealing from the club making it poor despite its support base that is the largest in Zimbabwe
