New Recording Studio To Change Fortunes Of Upcoming Musicians

Gospel artiste Itai Sandras of the ‘Tinosimudza Maoko’ fame has teamed up with fellow South African-based- gospel- musician Alpha Nhambure to establish a recording studio called Ado Studios and Events.

The studio –based at the corner of Second Street and South Avenue – is set to change the fortunes of upcoming artistes who were facing recording challenges, especially with established studios.

 According to Sandras, the studio was set up to bail out upcoming artistes.

“The new studio is going to accommodate artistes who have the talent but are financially challenged,” he said.

Meanwhile, the gospel musician was quick to shrug off the possibility of contractual challenges these less fortunate artistes may be subjected to.

“No contracts will be binding,”he said.

 Some established artistes for their rehearsals and it also does marketing and distribution of artistes’ albums.

Some of the artistes who are using the studio for rehearsals are renowned Mathias Mhere and Trymore Bande, among many others.

The studio also offers video filming.

Sandras started his music career in 2011 with a debut album titled Mwari Pindirai followed up with Pazuva Guru (2014).

It was the same track Tinosimudza Maoko taken off the aforementioned album which put Sandras on the limelight and it featured Takesure Zama of the Worship Addict and become an instant hit in churches and everywhere.

The album which is being marketed by Ado Studio and Events has tracks like Chimwe neChimwe, Zuva Guru (title track), Mudziyo yenyu and Korona among others.

The seven track album was produced at Revival Studio by veteran producer Blessing Masanga.
