Platinum Stars Coach Drowns

Platinum Stars were camped in Shurugwi and were due to play Shabanie Mine in a Zvishavane derby at Maglas Stadium this Friday afternoon.

Kennedy Ndebele, the Premier Soccer League chief executive confirmed Moyo’s death adding that he was shocked.

Benjamin Moyo is son to former Hwange coach Paul Moyo who is based in Botswana and he is also the young brother to the Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) board member, Benedict Moyo.

Benjamin Moyo once coached Chapungu and AmaZulu. He was engaged by Platinum Stars this year when they were promoted in the Premier Soccer League.
