Police Release MDC-N Officials and Human Rights Lawyers

Nhlanhla Dube the party national spokesperson who was among those detained the whole day at Hwange Police Camp told Radio Vop by phone that the police released them after 6pm on Tuesday.

“ We were released without charges being laid against us.We are angry because we were being treated as if we were criminals, ” Dube told Radio Vop after their release.

He said all the four officials will spend the night in Hwange in order to meet the co-Minister of National Healing and Reconciliation, Moses Mzila-Ndlovu who was granted bail by the magistrate yesterday.Mzila-Ndlovu was arrested last week while on his way to Victoria Falls.
