CAPE TOWN- Suspended South African police commissioner Riah Phiyega has been found guilty of fraud, perjury and misconduct.
Police Minister Nathi Nhleko on Wednesday read the damning report about Phiyega during a press conference at Parliament.
Nhleko appointed a task team in September to investigate internal claims against Phiyega and other senior members of the SAPS.
According to Netwerk24, Nhleko accused her of not co-operating with the investigation. She also withheld some documents.
He recommended that three teams be appointed to take matters further with regard with each of the findings.
President Jacob Zuma last month suspended Phiyega over the Marikana killings.
The Farlam Commission investigating the deaths had recommended that Phiyega face and inquiry into her fitness to hold office.
