SA's Big Brother Mzansi Launched
Johannesburg, February 3, 2014-Production company Endemol’s South African reality TV series, Big Brother Mzansi, launched yesterday on DStv’s Mzansi Magic, live entertainment and 12 housemates with secret missions to execute.
Performers, including kwaito house band Uhuru featuring Oskido, rapper Reason, award-winning DJ Ganyani featuring Si Anne and dance group Tembisa Revolution joined new host Lungile Radu on stage and injected bursts of energy throughout the evening.
As housemates arrived they were given their covert tasks, which they could only reveal to each other the following morning, such as portfolio manager MK who had to talk about himself incessantly upon entering the house; artist manager Loko who was tasked with non-stop gum chewing until the following morning; while Kat, an assistant and fashion entrepreneur Mzamo had to act as house hosts, unbeknown to the other contestants.
The biggest twist of the evening was unveiled as Big Brother revealed a secret house chamber with six blindfolded chamber mates, vying for the final two spaces in the Big Brother house.
