To Hell With Cameron: Mugabe

Mugabe who was accompanied by his two children Robert junior and Chatunga Bellarmine were at Sakubva stadium in Mutare at a party hosted to Zimbabwe’s only leader since independence in 1980.

He repeated his past sayings over gays and lesbians saying they are “worse than pig and dogs.”

“We will not be bothered by begging and going on our knees before whites in Europe,”Mugabe said.

“What sort of person is David Cameron is he for a start, what sort of virtues are in him. Is he a christian? Nature has provided males and females plant life and animal life. Now you David Cameron are you suggesting that you don’t know that or is some kind of some insanity now on part of the culture of the Europeans.”

“So we reject that out rightly and say to hell with you.”

Mugabe appealed ruled out incorporating gay rights in the country’s constitution or laws saying that it is not a kind of “freedom that any person” must think they have.

“Please young man there is no such freedom as homosexuality, “he said to the applause of his supporters.

Mugabe said his wife Grace who was not in attendance to the birthday celebrations had gone to Singapore to accompany their first child Bona who is doing articles in that country to qualify as a chartered accountant in that country.

Speakers at Mugabe’s birthday celebrations praised the old leader, castigating Tsvangirai and his Movement for Democratic Change party as Zanu PF slogans were chanted now and again. There was no senior MDC official who attended Mugabe’s birthday.
