UK: More Snow On The Way

The Met Office has issued severe weather warnings for Wales, south west and central England with up to 10cm of snow predicted as rain turns to heavy snow showers during the day, bringing travel and power problems.

Northern, south east England and Scotland could also see snow flurries.

The Highways Agency warned motorists to check forecasts before setting out on journeys and said it would be treating motorways and major roads across the areas affected.

Britain has already suffered its coldest winter for 30 years with blizzards bringing chaos for commuters across the country and causing thousands of schools to close temporarily. Reuters
