The Zimbabwe national team are guaranteed to pocket at least $ 175 000 for reaching the CHAN2014 quarter-finals.
They could be in line for even more money should they progress further after the CHAN 2014 Local Organising committee revealed the amounts given at each stage of the tournament.
The winner of the tournament would will earn $750 000 the runner-up $400 000 and the third- and fourth-placed teams will get $250 000 each.
The losing quarter finalists will take home $175 000 each, the teams placed third in the group stage get $125 000 each, and those placed fourth in the group stage $100 000.
The prize money should be a good incentive for the Warriors who take on Mali on Saturday in the quarter finals.
ZIFA yesterday appealed to the corporate world and government to come out and support the team financially for the rest of the tournament after going beyond expectations.
Initially the Warriors received $ 88 000 from the Government which was meant to cover for the per-tournament stages and group stages but now need more funds for the rest of the tournament.
