Zuma Out Of Hospital
The South African presidency says President Jacob Zuma will be working from home for the next couple of days while he recovers from undergoing a routine surgery.
The President was admitted to hospital on Saturday evening to undergo the scheduled procedure.
The gallstones were discovered during a routine medical check-up about two months ago.
The period of recess in Parliament and Cabinet provided an opportunity to have the procedure done.
The Presidency said that doctors are pleased with the outcome of the operation and that President Zuma will spend the next few days resting and recuperating at home.
He will also work from home during this period.
